In an Instagram post, the "Dinero" singer posted a photo of her and her long-time boyfriend, baseball player Alex Rodriguez, on holiday in a scenic beach. Eagle-eyed fans immediately spotted a massive ring on Lopez' hand.

The photo sparked speculations that the celebrity couple secretly got engaged this week while on vacation with family in an undisclosed sunny location. Neither of the stars confirmed that they had taken the next step in their relationship, but a proposal from A-Rod has been a long time coming.
The two have been dating since March 2017, shortly after Lopez's fling with Canadian rapper Drake ended. Rodriguez has reportedly met his new girlfriend's mom, Guadalupe, last year.
Their children from their respective previous partners have also met each other and seem to be getting along well. In June last year, the Shades of Blue star shared a photo of her family on a #sundayfunday.

In March, the couple sold off their solo bachelor/bachelorette pads and decided to move in together in a $15 million condo fit for their blended family in Manhattan.
Unfortunately, Entertainment Tonight said that the jewelry that Lopez was spotted sporting was not an engagement ring. It is simply a gold accessory and is hardly the kind of engagement ring that one would expect from a renowned athlete.

While it looks like a proposal did not happen this week, Lopez and Rodriguez seem to be ready to walk down the aisle. The world-renowned performer recently released "El Anillo" which translates to "The Ring."
The Latin song off J. Lo's new album speaks about feeling good in a relationship. In one of the verses, the 48-year-old asks, "When will I get the ring?"
In a previous interview, the diva spoke addressed the engagement rumors.
"I'm not trying to rush into anything, I've done that before, to no avail. I'm a little bit more grown up now and I like to let things take their natural course," she told Ebro Darden (via E! News). "We are really kind of good for each other and are really having the best time and our kids love each other."
