Cardi B has given fans an update on the arrest of her husband, Offset of Migos, in Georgia last week.

Cardi B Welcomes Offset Home

In a post on Instagram, the new mom revealed that the rapper has been sent home after spending some time in jail for carrying a gun and an improper lane change.

The chart-topper also clarified that Offset is not currently on probation. Previous reports claim that the member of the Migos trio is still on probation for a separate guns and drugs charges during a concert in Georgia Southern California. Rapper Offset was originally handed a five-year probation, but the AJC reports that he received an early termination of probation.

Offset Set Free After Arrest

Page Six reports that Offset was released on Friday, July 20, after posting bail amounting to $17,000. His bodyguard, who was at the vehicle at the time of the arrest, was also taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime. It is unclear if he, too, was released this weekend.

Offset also gave an update to fans, saying that he was coming home. He also thanked his lawyer, Drew Findling, for getting him off the hook.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THIS MAN LAWYER/FRIEND HE HAS TAUGHT ME ALOT ABOUT GETTING MORE INVOLVED IN COMMUNITY HE HELPS ME FINANCIALLY OUTSIDE THE COURT ROOM HE IS THE BEST LAWYER I KNOW I LOVE HIM TO DEATH @drewfindling

According to Findling, the "MotorSport" rapper was very worried about his family, especially his newborn Kulture Kiari, while behind bars.

"He is concerned, very concerned, about [Cardi B]," he said. "Of course his new baby is his top priority as well as his other children."

The celebrity lawyer also argued that his client did not do anything wrong. Offset neither committed any traffic violation nor was he in possession of a weapon at the time of the arrest, claimed Findling.

The arrest took place a few weeks after Offset was involved in a car crash in Atlanta. He received minor injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Immediately after, Rapper was sent home to recuperate.

He will soon be heading on tour with the rest of Migos and Drake this month as part of "Aubrey & The Three Migos." The North American trek kicks off on July 26, Thursday, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
