British artist Rita Ora is the latest to give a quarantine edition performance with her song "How To Be Lonely" on the latest episode of Jimmy Fallon's "The Tonight Show," April 14.

Ora opened her performance by saying "I put this dress on just for you," before starting the song. Turning her home into a studio, Rita soon shared the screen with her back-up vocals and their session guitarist, all performing their part from the safety of their respective homes.

Rita Ora in Quarantine

The 29-year-old artist is currently staying at home with her family in the U.K. In a video call interview with Billboard's Jason Lipshutz last April 8, Rita Ora described the quarantine period as "actually really refreshing," saying that the social distancing allowed her to look at her laptop and, look at old ideas, and finish things that she never had the time to do.

Aside from her music, the British singer shared that she had been doing a variety of activities including working out, cooking, painting, and reading. She has also been staying in touch with her family, friends, and her team via video chat.

Rita also described the song she belted on "The Tonight Show," which was written by Lewis Capaldi. She thought of the song as a "really cool perception of what people think a breakup song is."

The music video, which premiered last March 27 on Ora's YouTube channel, was directed by Dave Meyes and was filmed in Los Angeles in January this year. Rita Ora said that "How To Be Lonely" might not appear in her upcoming studio album, since she intends to keep it a solo single.

Launching a Coronavirus Charity Effort

During her quarantine stay, Rita Ora managed to drop by Miley Cyrus' increasingly popular Instagram Live series, "Bright Minded," and also talked about her Capaldi-penned single. Ora noted in the March 19 episode that the song's message fits the social distancing period.

Rita appeared on Cyrus' IG Live wearing a white tee with a red peace sign stamped over a green virus, explaining that she took the classic peace symbol and put the virus on it "because this is about playing your part, spreading the knowledge."

She also shared that she opened her "Stop The Spread" shop, which contains the same red peace - green virus logo on an assortment of shirts, hoodies, as well as a sticker pack. A message on the top of the page says that "all proceeds go to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization.

Hannah Montana then asked Rita Ora how the global coronavirus pandemic is affecting U.K, to which Ora described as "deserted." Rita then described her experience, saying that they're "really just waiting, sitting on the edge like not knowing what to do." The "Let You Love Me" artist pointed out that the outbreak is "not something we're trying to kill, this is something that we're trying to beat."

In Cyrus' talk show, Rita Ora explained that "How To Be Lonely" drives the point of being all right even without a partnership and that being alone is actually okay.

"It's like finding ways around how you can be happy and still be by yourself," Rita Ora added.
