Billboard's hit new series "Live At-Home" is set to feature performances from Jason Mraz, Jesse McCartney, and more in this week's lineup, starting later today, April 27.

In an article on the Billboard website, two artists are set to guest in the "at-home" show every day, from Monday to Friday. Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro is set to open this week's salvo, slated later today (April 27) at 1 PM EST. The Kilmarnock trio of Simon Neil, plus the twins James and Ben Johnson will be performing and chatting with fans for two hours. By 3 PM EST, Vanessa Carlton will be taking over to serenade the audience.

The Tuesday session will be covered by Mr. A-Z himself, Jason Mraz (1 PM EST) followed by the "Beautiful Soul" singer, Jesse McCartney. Country artist Carly Pearce will open the Wednesday schedule to be followed by Atlanta rapper K Camp.

R&B duo and sisters Chloe X Halle is the only artist scheduled for Thursday still at 1 PM EST. Singer-songwriter MAX and Sinaloan music star Joss Favela are set to take over Billboard's Friday lineup.

The "Billboard Live At-Home" series began a month ago, on March 19, and featured Josh Groban, Jojo, and Russell Dickerson. Each performer chooses a nonprofit organization to receive the funds raised during their respective live streams, mostly going to groups working against the global coronavirus pandemic. So far, among the beneficiary nonprofits assisted by the Billboard live series include food support groups Meals on Wheels, and Feeding America, as well as Downtown Women's Center, My Friend's Place, American Red Cross, MusiCares, and more. Fans can get in on the live streams through the official Billboard Facebook page.

Some of the artists include Colbie Caillat, Rebecca Black, David Archuleta, Melissa Etheridge, Kenny G, Tinashe, Jewel, Lukas Graham, and Hunter Hayes.

Aside from giving off performances, artists also used their time to bond with fans and share tips and insights about life in the middle of quarantine. Last Friday, April 24, Boyz II Men member Shawn Stockman gave a short word about empathy. After dropping timeless hits for fans in support of the Downtown Women's Center and Micah's Voice, Stockman asked the people "dying to go out and climb a tree or get a haircut or get a tattoo, please consider other people," further imploring them to reconsider how their actions affect people they might not even know. The 47-year-old crooner shared his thoughts on the recent reopening of certain businesses in Georgia, saying that out of concern, people should "keep [their] behinds in the house.

Gospel singer and fashion designer Kierra Sheard brought the good word on her session through her song "It Keeps Happening," which she sang to open and close her live stream. She described it as "a declarative song that you can use and speak over your life," saying that it is especially encouraging during this time.

As of this writing, there were close to a million confirmed positives in the United States alone, according to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center. However, the trend appeared bright with a total of 54.8 thousand recoveries and more than 5 million total conducted tests.
