Hip-hop superstar Marshall Bruce "Eminem" Mathers announced that he would be donating his rare pair of Jordan shoes to contribute in the fight against COVID-19.

Mathers said on his Instagram account that he plans to sell several personal items, and the proceeds that will come from it will be given to the COVID-19 response fund of the World Health Organization. According to NME, he took his advice from his own 2002 hit "Cleanin' Out My Closet."

Among the things that he will include in the offer is "a deadstock pair of Jordan 4 Retro Eminem Carhartt (size 10.5)," as well as "a vintage Undercr(o)wn Detroit Slim Tee (XL)." The pair is available on StockX.

Eminem was also the one who donated bowls of spaghetti to hospitals in Detroit. He named his donated food "Mom's Spaghetti," which was first heard in the lyrics of his hit song, "Lose Yourself." The hospitals where the spaghetti was delivered were Henry Ford Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital.

NME and Tone Deaf said that the shoes that Eminem will donate are one of the ten pairs of shoes he created alongside basketball legend Michael Jordan in 2015. The proceeds from the sale of the shoes benefited the Marshall Mathers Foundation, his charitable foundation. In previous auctions, the shoes were sold between $20,000 and $30,000.
