After five years, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour is back with a new song, "Yes, I Have Ghosts."
The song is more of a family effort, as it comes with the release of the audiobook of Gilmour's wife, Holly Samson, and features the vocals of her daughter Romany.
The audiobook is a coming-of-age novel titled "A Theatre for Dreamers."
In a statement, as quoted in Billboard, Gilmour expresses how he is surprised that "more musicians have not creatively collaborated with authors, narrators, and audiobook producers" in the same manner his recent work appears. He says, "music can really help to bring audiobooks to life in unexpected new ways."
Gilmour's last studio set was in 2015, title Rattle that Lock. It landed No. 1 on the U.K. Album Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
