Post Malone challenged his friend guitarist-producer Andrew Watt to a guitar battle.

In an Instagram video, he introduced himself before naming his challenger. The video showed a giant stuffed bear before the camera panned towards Malone's direction. Malone then proceeded to play an impressive guitar solo of "Cliffs of Dover" by Eric Johnson.

Andrew Watt responded to the friendly duel on a video uploaded on his own Instagram account. It started with a black and white photograph of legendary musician Prince. Moments later, the camera shows Watt heavily prepared with a bunch of guitar gadgets at his disposal. He then played a guitar solo of "Take What You Want," Malone's song in collaboration with heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne and rapper Travis Scott.

Watt worked on many records with Malone and Ozzy Osbourne. He contributed to Malone's "Feeling Whitney," "Die for Me," and many other tracks. The guitarist also produced former Black Sabbath member's recent studio album Ordinary Man. This is Osbourne's twelfth studio album and was released on February 21 of this year.

Aside from working with Post Malone and Ozzy Osbourne, Watt also produced Miley Cyrus' "Midnight Sky" released recently. Back in March, the guitarist-producer was positive for COVID-19. He posted updates on his social media regarding the disease. Watt warned that everyone is affected, even someone as young as him.

On the same month, Malone drew criticism for his concert of 20,000 people. Concerns for coronavirus was rising during this time and large gatherings were highly discouraged. Many people believed that the rapper should have cancelled the event instead. Because of that, he decided to have his tours beyond March 2020 postponed.

A month later, he announced he is working on his upcoming fourth album. The other albums he released were Stoney Tour in 2017, Beerbongs & Bentleys Tour in 2018, and Runaway Tour in 2019.
