The decades-long feud between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. has ended. In 2012, 50 Cent claimed Mayweather had a falling out due to a financial dispute, TMZ reported. The two had been pretty close up until that point.

50 Cent even went as far as saying that they didn't need each other: "He don't need me, I don't need him [...] Me and him get into an argument and it can go on for a lot longer because we don't really need each other."

In the succeeding years, 50 Cent went viral for challenging former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather to prove that he could read.

"If you could read one full page of a Harry Potter book, I'll give $750 thousand to whatever charitable organization you want to," he said.

As a follow up, 50 Cent taunted Mayweather: "We wanna put pressure on you. You know you can't pronounce those words  in the Harry Potter book, so we gonna let you read Cat In The Hat."

The Beef Is Over

That, however, is now all water under the bridge. During The Breakfast Club, he revealed that they had sorted it out, and their beef had ended.

Actress Mo'Nique called him out during Super Bowl weekend, telling him to end the feud with Mayweather. Mo'Nique spent "about 10 minutes on me and Floyd,' 50 Cent added.

"I went to see him [...]," 50 Cent shared at The Breakfast Club. "Around my birthday. It was cool."

After his apology, Mayweather asked him, "what took you so long?" And with that, the two reconciled. 50 Cent also shared that the two held each other in high regard for their success and that "life is short."

"Big Bags Coming Out"

To prove that the riff has been mended, 50 posted a picture of Mayweather on Instagram, captioning it, "Yeah Champ said he gonna pull up on me for Tycoon, so you know we gonna go crazy. Big bags coming out TMT floydmayweather. BOOM."
