Today is Tuesday, which means the club is bound to being goin' up tonight.
If that reference flew over your head, you clearly haven't been paying attention to the massive YouTube wave that is iLoveMakonnen. His hit song "Club Going Up On a Tuesday" has been making the rounds since early July, and the fad just hit a high point.
Rapper Drake decided that he would contribute a verse to the track, and official "Tuesday Feat. Drake" appeared on Soundcloud today with the words "HAVE A WONDERFUL TUESDAY" as the background art.
The Toronto artist goes all-out for the kid:
"I don't need the pills," he sings, with some help from Makonnen-style Auto-Tune. "I'm just gon' have another drink / And when I'm putting work in on the weekend / I'll look back on this and think / How we had the club doing up on a Tuesday."
