During the Philly stop of their Drake vs. Lil Wayne tour, the YMCMB rhymers paid homage to the city's beloved Meek Mill, who is currently serving time for a probation violation.

According to Vibe, pandemonium took over the crowd as Drizzy and Wayne played the intro from Meek's Dreams and Nightmares mixtape. The track remains a fan favorite and Drake made it known back in April how highly he thinks of it.

As previously reported, a judge presiding over the MMG rapper's case denied Meek's request for early parole to return to music and support his son.

In addition to denying his request, the judge ordered the 27-year-old rapper to take anger management and parenting classes.

Last month, Meek's lawyer filed a petition in an attempt for an early release. Both requests were denied by the same judge. Meek remains in jail following his three to six month sentence.

The rapper's parent label Atlantic Records issued a letter to the court stating that his jail time is detrimental to his upcoming album release.

"If the artist is unable to promote his album release, thousands of fans will be disappointed and potentially turn their interest to other artists which could prove devastating to this artist's career and damaging to those who have worked and hoped to continue working with him over the course of that career," the letter said.

Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money album is slated to drop on Sept. 9, however, the earliest he will be released is Oct. 11.

Back in July, Rick Ross vowed to try and keep Meek's album release on schedule saying, "Every individual signed to MMG is not just an artist, they are my family. And with family you ride, or you die. Yesterday, my brother, Meek Mill ran into some unfortunate legal issues. It happens. However, his team, our team, will continue to execute Meek's plan as close to schedule as possible."
