Hodor has one of the lowest vocabularies in the Game of Thrones series, so perhaps it's for the best that he's an electronic dance musician...not much wordplay required. Actor Kristian "Hodor" Nairn, who plays the friendly giant on the HBO series, has adapted his most famous role into an EDM show titled "Rave of Thrones," which he'll be bringing from Australia—where he played a series of club shows—to the United States for the first time on October 10.

It's only one date but it should be feel worth it. The performer will come to New York City to play B.B. King's House of Blues near Times Square. It's an unusual venue to be sure, especially in a city that packs a Pacha location plus Cielo...but you can take solace in knowing that at least the music won't be hokey. Nairn was a DJ prior to becoming an actor and his role behind a deck is far more diverse than his lines on Game of Thrones (no offense bud). The DJ specializes in deep house.

Of course you can expect there to be some degree of tie-in to the hit show. After all, the opening acts go by the titles "Trance Rayder" and "Zedd Stark" (don't expect Sean Bean to be the performer in the latter case).

One detail worth looking in to: Shows in Australia featured a dress code...a Game of Thrones themed dress code at that. The listing on the B.B. King's website states that "costumes encouraged" but not required. Might be worth looking into as to not feel left out.

It doesn't seem that any other U.S. dates have been listed for the Rave of Thrones yet, but keep an eye out.
