Gerard Way may have a single called "No Shows," but the former My Chemical Romance frontman has actually booked a lot of them. Today (Aug. 26), Way announced his first solo U.S. tour, in support of his upcoming solo album Hesitant Alien.

According to Radio.com, Way will be following up his solo live debut with eight shows in major American markets.

Moving away from the massive MCR tours, Way will be playing smaller venues in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Boston, New York and New Hampshire, beginning on Oct. 12 and running through Oct. 23.

No intergalactic space specials for him, then.
