The Pink Print finally has a release date...so we thought. After much chatter that Nicki Minaj's latest project would drop on Black Friday, the post-holiday release was confirmed and later recanted.

According to XXL, which referenced Billboard's Fall preview, the YMCMB femcee will go head-to-head against Eminem as his double-disc compilation project Shady XV drops the same day. But Billboard later updated the article, saying, "Reps for Nicki Minaj tell Billboard that a release date for The Pinkprint has not yet been determined."

Bummer!

Minaj's forthcoming project already boasts two chart hits from the set, "Pills N Potions" and "Anaconda," which currently sits at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Not to mention, the "Anaconda" music video recently smashed the VEVO record for most views in 24 hours, beating Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball."

The video garnered 100 million views.

Back in July, rapper/producer Yung Berg talked about his involvement with the album and what fans can expect.

"The Pink Print is the female Blueprint. Like Jay Z put out The Blueprint, I think this Pink Print really personifies that," he said. "And not only that, I'm really involved in it, and Nicki Minaj is like one of the best people. One of my best friends in the music industry right now period."

He went on to say the album is a great representation of who Nicki is.

"I think she gave you guys a really great example with 'Pills N Potions,'" Berg said. "It has rap in it, it has singing, but at the same token, it's really just more about Nicki being Nicki. I really feel like she's coming from the heart with this joint."

Guess we'll have to just hold out a little bit longer. Stay tuned for updates.
