The Afghan Whigs have announced that they will essentially be throwing their 1993 album Gentlemen an awesome 21st birthday party in the form of a reissue this October.

According to the band's website, fans will have the opportunity to buy a deluxe edition of the album, which will be released under a new title: Gentlemen at 21. The reissue will feature everything from the original material, including hits like the title track and "Debonair," to rare B-Sides and demos.

"Gentlemen at 21 presents the original record's 11 tracks, updated but still retaining the 1993 album's blistering swagger," the announcement read. "The same 11 tracks that have made a visceral connection with fans over the last 21 years –– the deeply dark and confessional lyrical content, the no-frills production qualities, and Greg Dulli's soul-baring vocal performances captured on tape."

The remastered album will be available through Rhino Records as a 2-CD set for $19.98, a digital download for $14.99 and a single LP without bonus material for $24.98 on Oct. 28. A deluxe, triple LP version of the work will be released for Record Store Day on Nov. 28 for $59.98.

The Whigs spent this summer in Europe, touring in support of their latest effort, Do To The Beast –– their first new album in 16 years. The band is currently making its way through the States, and a new show has been added at the Music Hall in Williamsburg on Oct. 5. In honor of Gentlemen hitting the drinking age, tickets will be $21.
