Job Description

• Assume receptionist duties, greet public and refer them to appropriate staff members, answer phone, route calls, and take messages.
• Assist CEO on day to day works and communication to staff
• Assist staff with administrative duties as requested.
• Order office supplies/snacks and monitor inventory while keeping costs down
• Manage time keeper for staff attendance and other office related works
• Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail including bulk mail.
• Point of contact for office related vendors and suppliers
• Type and word process documents as needed along with generating various reports
• Facilitate and execute employee company events, regular morale boosting staff events
• Make travel arrangements for people when needed
• Maintain entire office, keeping it clean and free from clutter.
• Establish professional relationships with employees, peers, and clients
• Provide administrative support for the HR function
• Research and add more perks to staff benefits
• post job postings for available staff and intern positions
recruiting and staffing logistics; sort through and review resumes, check references, conduct interviews, writing tests, etc.
performance management and improvement tracking systems;
employee orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping;
assisting with employee relations;
company employee communication;
• PTO administration and recordkeeping; keep track of staff absence requests
employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting; and
assisting with the day-to-day efficient operation of the office and HR dept.
• The office administrator / Human Resources assistant contributes to the accomplishment of Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a superior workforce.

The office administrator / Human Resources assistant helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs through HR staff; reports to the supervisor, and assists company managers with HR issues.

Desired Skills and Expertise

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team.
• Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience.
• Typing skills with at least 50 WPM.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of general office machines and telephone system.
• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
• High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
• Ability and willingness to work some early mornings and evenings
