    This past summer, the Bunk Police smuggled 15,000 drug testing kits into Mysteryland USA's second annual three-day electronic dance music and culture festival held on the grounds of the original Woodstock '69 at Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center.     Pictureplane, the moniker for Travis Egedy's electronic production project, just dropped his new full-length album entitled Technomancer. The Brooklyn-via-Detroit multimedia artist's album was released via Anticon over the weekend and is available to stream via the label's Soundcloud. Just in time for the holiday, the POTUS seems to have found some time in between rocking out as leader of the free world and greeting Trick-or-Treaters with the first family to sing his own rendition of the title track from Jackson's seminal 1982 album.

    GWAR has covered Cyndi Lauper's 1984 pop gem "She Bop" on the A.V. Club's "Undercover Series" which features artists covering other artist's greatest hits. After transforming the synth-pop female masturbation anthem into a moshpit-inducing thrash metal jam, the gore-metal legends treated listeners to a bonus cover of the Ramones' "Blitzkrieg Bop."
  • Nine Inch Nails Releasing ‘Halo I-IV’ Vinyl Box Set for Record Store Day Black Friday

    Nine Inch Nails, Trent Reznor’s industrial rock outfit, will be releasing a vinyl box set entitled Halo I-IV for Record Store Day Black Friday. The limited edition set is based on Nine Inch Nails’ landmark 1989 debut album Pretty Hate Machine and includes the original 12” singles for “Down In It, “Sin,” and of course, “Head Like a Hole.” “Halo I-IV” is out November 27th at your local record store.
  • Meet Dead Dillon, Dillon Francis' Zombie Alter-Ego in New 'All That' Video [WATCH]

    In the spirit of Halloween, electronic producer/DJ Dillon Francis has dropped the creepy music video for his track "All That," starring the artist's zombie alter-ego Dead Dillon. The track features Twista and The Rej3ctz and was released back in 2014 on the LA-born artist's debut album Money Sucks, Friends Rule. Both Francis and his song will be featured in the upcoming horror comedy film, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse, which comes out October 30th.
  • Kasbo Drops New Track via ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective Label [LISTEN]

    Kasbo, the moniker of Swedish electronic producer Carl Garso, has recently dropped a new future bass track, "World Away." The 19-year-old up up-and-comer has yet to share a full-length album, but has already garnered quite the following--probably because the track is one of the coveted first releases on ODESZA's new label, Foreign Family Collective; or maybe because Kasbo scored a supporting slot on ODESZA's Fall North American tour that's kicking off this Friday in New Orleans. Either way, he'll be making his festival debut this Halloween at HARD's Day of the Dead in LA, which is kind of a big deal. Listen to "World Away," below.
  • Danzig Allegedly Punches Photographer, Confirms Retirement from Touring

    Danzig, the stage name of former Misfits frontman Glenn Anzalone, allegedly punched a photographer during a concert in Montreal last week. Following the incident, Danzig reportedly told Loudwire, "I think this is going to be it" after one of his New York City shows this past week, asserting, "I'll do some shows here or there, but I don't think I'm going to tour anymore." The metal-infused horror punk pioneer will finish his remaining Blackest of the Black North American tour dates with Superjoint before retiring from the road.

    After a decade of ruling the Australian airwaves (and beyond) as host of several Triple J Radio shows, electronic DJ, producer and tastemaker Nina Agzarian, aka Nina Las Vegas, has left the station. For her final Mix Up Exclusives show this weekend, she solicited 30 minute mixes from Diplo, Anna Lunoe, Flight Facilities, Flume, Cashmere Cat, RL Grime, Swick and Levins.
