Fans can seek assistance by calling (574) 404-SAFE "if [they] are being harassed, or feel unsafe and need help." Currently headed on tour in support of their most recent LP Foil Deer on Carpark Records, the four-piece outfit shared details regarding the hotline via Facebook and Twitter.
  • St. Vincent Returns to Texas, Sings National Anthem in 'Lonestar' Documentary [WATCH]

    Annie Clark, also known as St. Vincent, recently starred in a short documentary during her recent visit to her home state Texas. Filmed by Alan Del Rio Oritz for Nowness, the short, appropriately titled Lonestar features clips of Clark singing the national anthem, talking about her connection to music, and footage of the singer-songwriter traversing the Texan landscape in a jeep then on foot in the nude.

Fronted by Scottish vocalist and musician Shirley Manson, the band has continued to be applauded as one of the most influential bands of the 1990s.

    The forthcoming re-release of the documentary Heaven Adores You, which tells the story of the late singer-songwriter Elliott Smith sets to include a number of previously unheard tracks by the Nebraska native. Originaly released in 2014 at the San Francisco International Film Festival, the documentary is scheduled to premier later this year the film produced by Kevin Moyer, a friend of the late Smith, shared details about the soundtrack's progress earlier this week.

    Natasha Khan of Bat For Lashes recently directed a fifteen-minute short titled "I Do" for the love themed feature 'Madly.' One of six shorts included in the project, Khan's celluloid vision explores "modern love" in a way that the singer-songwriter described as "very countryside, weird, English, surreal" in a recent interview with Pitchfork.

    Chazwick Bradley Bundick (akaToro Y Moi) surprised fans with the unannounced release of a compilation of previously unheard tracks titled 'Samantha' earlier this week. Initially announced through his Instagram account, the album is currently available for download via Dropbox. Bundwick's latest release features an assortment of songs recorded during the winter of 2012 to August 2015 in Berkley, California.

    A familiar name in the news as of late, Morrissey, the famed front man of the prolific 80s outfit The Smiths, announced the forthcoming publication date for his debut novel. Set to hit shelves in the UK next month, the son and heir's book is titled 'List Of The Los't via Penguin Books. Much like with the performer's 'Autobiography' (which was given Penguin Classics status upon first printing), the US publication date for his novel has yet to be determined but will most likely occur in the fall.
  • Nirvana's 'E-Coli' Demo Leaks Online [LISTEN]

    Grunge legends Nirvana's demo tape for "E-coli" is now available online. Posted anonymously on Reddit, the demo is thought to be a recording from 1993 or 1994. One of the many previously unavailable demos to surface online recently, "E-coli" follows the leak of Fecal Matter's (Kurt Cobain's pre-Nirvana ensemble) thirteen-track demo titled 'Illiteracy Will Prevail' which appeared online only a few weeks ago.
