Ringo Starr Will Set Out On Summer Tour With All Starr Band
Ringo Starr's band will officially be heading out on the road this summer with his current members, including Toto's Steve Lukather, Mr. Mister's Richard Page, original Santana singer Gregg Rolie, Todd Rundgren and drummer Gregg Bissonette. "I love playing with this band," Starr said in a statement according to Rolling Stone, "and I can't wait to get back out and play with them again." -
Grammys 2014: Rap and R&B winners
This year, R&B and rap were recognized in a big way at the 2014 Grammys. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis really took over the genre for the awards. In addition to just taking home multiple trophies, they made a huge impression during their performance when Queen Latifah joined them to officiate the marriages 33 couples and Madonna joined in. When asked what Latifah thinks about the winners in the Best New Artist category, she told Los Angeles Times: "Macklemore & Lewis are hugely successful with Grammy after Grammy for making good music and for talking about things that matter to people." -
Vans Will Relese The Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' Footwear Collaboration
Vans is honoring the Beatles with a new footwear collaboration that will come out on March 1. The iconic band will also receive some well-deserved recognition tonight at the Grammys with the Recording Academy's Lifetime Achievement Award. -

Belle and Sebastian frontman Stuart Murdoch revealed his first feature film this past weekend at Sundance, God Help the Girl. The film, a musical about a whimsical summer spent in Glasgow between three new friends starting a band, took more than 10 years to make. "Sometimes you just want your life to turn into a pop song," Murdoch said as he introduced the film. -
Opera Singer Renée Fleming Set to Sing National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVIII
This year, at Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2, it won't be another pop diva or country music star singing the national anthem. Instead, soprano opera singer Renée Fleming will take on the job, and this will be the first time a classical musician has tackled "The Star-Spangled Banner." -
