    Robert Plant will release a specialty EP this Record Store Day, April 18, titled 'More Roar.' The four-song, 10-inch release will feature tunes from the singer's recent release 'Lullaby and ... The Ceaseless Roar,' recorded while on tour with The Sensational Space Shifters. As an added bonus, Plant also included a live reworking of the Led Zeppelin classic "Whole Lotta Love," 'Ultimate Classic Rock' noted.

One remaining headliner has yet to be announced for the inaugural concert event, 'Billboard' noted.

    Fans of the Grateful Dead showed their love for the band over the weekend, buying every last ticket available for the reunion shows set to happen at Chicago's Soldier Field in July. The three shows slated for July 3 to 5 sold out in one hour Saturday, Feb. 28. Ticketmaster did not crash even with the demand for tickets reaching the millions, 'Billboard' noted.
  • Dimebag Darrell's Grave Vandalized With Homophobic Slur

    The man who vandalized the grave site of Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell has issued an apology. Reece Eber, the former lead singer for rising metal act Nuclear Hellfrost, owned up to the disrespectful prank of writing a homophobic slur and placing it on the grave of the beloved axeman. The singer sent out an Instagram post claiming to have spit on the grave and stolen some cowboy boots, but he explained in his apology that those actions never occurred, 'Metal Injection' noted.

    Alabama Shakes brought their blend of soulful garage rock to 'Saturday Night Live' over the weekend in advance of their new album. The band performed two new songs -- "Don't Wanna Fight" and "Gimme All Your Love" -- from its upcoming sophomore album 'Sound & Color.' The performances were two major highlights of the late-night sketch show.

    Damien Rice is hitting the road at the end of March in support of his new album 'My Favourite Faded Fantasy.' The Irish singer will kick off the world tour in Atlanta March 31 and make his way through the United States before heading overseas, 'Consequence of Sound' noted. The tour wraps up Aug. 4 in Berlin.

She explained that a few minor changes to her meticulously planned performance contributed to the spill, but the Queen of Pop was in good spirits about the whole ordeal, which she called a "horrible nightmare."

    Drake has accomplished an impressive feat, tying a record set by The Beatles in 1964. Following the release of his new effort, If You're Reading This It's Too Late, the rapper has 14 tunes on the Billboard Hot 100, which the Fab Four achieved after landing in America. Drake is a featured artist on four of the tracks while The Beatles are the lead act on all 14 of their singles.
  • Sonic Youth Announce 'Bad Moon Rising' Reissue

    Sonic Youth has announced a deluxe reissue of its 1985 sophomore album, Bad Moon Rising. The reissue will include bonus tracks in honor of the album's 30th anniversary. The re-release follows previous reissues of Daydream Nation and The Whitey Album from 1988. Confusion is Sex, EVOL and Sister will follow.
  • Bob Dylan May Release a Second Volume of 'Shadows in the Night'

    Bob Dylan may have some leftover Frank Sinatra covers from his "Shadows in the Night" recording sessions. Producer Daniel Lanois, who worked on previous Dylan albums, heard the folk legend's most recent LP prior to its release and he was also treated to some bonus tracks that didn't appear on the album. In an interview with the Vancouver Sun, Lanois revealed that those extra songs might be compiled for a second "Shadows in the Night" release.
  • Madonna Says France Is Like 'Nazi Germany'

    Madonna is receiving some criticism following comments about racial intolerance in France. According to Consequence of Sound, the Queen of Pop compared the country to "Nazi Germany" during an interview with a European radio station. The comments follow a rough week for Madge, who fell during her performance at the BRIT Awards.
  • Tool Offers Album Update from the Studio

    It's been somewhat confusing trying to figure out if Tool is recording a new album, but a recent Instagram post has cleared things up. According to Maynard James Keenan, the record is "progressing nicely" even though it's ultimately been a slow process. The new effort will follow up the band's 2006 release 10,000 Days.

    The guys brought the house down at The Fillmore in Detroit last night, Feb. 27, with an extremely competitive first round of live performances. Qaasim Middleton and Quentin Alexander were two standouts from the evening. The ladies displayed their talents tonight and brought just as much energy and precision to the show. Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr. and Keith Urban were again blown away by this American Idol class of singers.
