    Stephen Colbert thus far is living up to all the hype built around his first two weeks as host of 'The Late Show' with an emotional interview with Vice President Joe Biden, smart political jokes about Donald Trump and spectacular music performances. Last night he added a collaborative performance from Run The Jewels and TV On The Radio to that roster of music for a performance of "Angel Duster."

    The Dead Weather said the band led by Jack White wouldn't be touring behind its upcoming release Dodge And Burn, but now it appears the band will break its five-year hiatus from the live stage to perform for the second week of Stephen Colbert's tenure as host of 'The Late Show.' That same week will feature a collaboration between Run the Jewels and TV on the Radio.

    Shabazz Palaces is hitting the road in April for a lengthy world tour. The group will make stops at Primavera Sound and Bonnaroo in addition to a few other festival dates. They will join TV on the Radio and Genius for two dates at the beginning of the trek and open for Flying Lotus for a string of shows overseas, 'Pitchfork' noted. The group is touring in support of its 2014 release 'Lese Majesty.' 'Rolling Stone' gave the album a positive review and 'Pitchfork' ranked it 8.2 out of 10.
  • TV on the Radio Announce Additional US Tour Dates

    TV on the Radio had a solid 2014 with the release of its fifth studio album Seeds. The Brooklyn rock outfit will hit the road in support of the record later this month starting with a set at the Buku Music + Art Project Festival. The trek will take the group through Chicago, Los Angeles and Nashville, among other places, until it wraps in July in Morrison, Colorado, at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

    Former My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has announced a brief run of North American tour dates leading up to his appearance at the Boston Calling Festival May 23. According to "Alternative Press," the tour kicks off in Minneapolis May 15 and will also take Way to Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Toronto and Montreal.

Zac Brown Band, Skrillex, Foo Fighters and Beck are set to headline the event, which occurs on the Gulf Shores in Alabama May 15-17. Other big names include Paramore, My Morning Jacket, Foster the People and Spoon. Hangout organizers also announced a partnership with Goldenvoice, the promotion company behind Coachella and Firefly.
