Liam Howlett and Keith Flint craft the pulverizing production with signature Prodigy metal-influenced riffs and thumping bass, while Maxim delivers the vocals with furious precision.

The Future Music Festival at the Singapore Changi Exhibition Centre has been cancelled, less than a week before it was set to begin. Admittedly, most saw this development coming even as organizers Livescape insisted last week that they were dead-set on pushing forward with the event. Acts including Avicii, The Prodigy, Afrojack and Fatboy Slim will have their weekends freed up as a result.

"The Day Is My Enemy" has been generally better received then The UK electronic music pioneer's first single "Nasty," taking a harder, more innovative approach to what The Prodigy put forth with their music.
  • Prodigy Want to Be 'Important as Blur or Oasis,' Think 'Dance Music Is Dead'

The Prodigy are prepping for the release of their upcoming studio "The Day Is My Enemy" and are back to making headlines with their sometimes abrasive statements to match their in-your-face sound. In an interview with "The Guardian" packed full of dream-worthy quotes for any journalist, Maxim, Liam Howlett and Keith Flint do not hold anything back dishing on the state of dance music, which has changed dramatically since they last released an album, and how they want their legacy to be viewed by music historians next to other British acts like Oasis and Blur.
  • The Prodigy Share 'Nasty' Music Video: 'The Day Is My Enemy' Available For Pre-Order [WATCH]

  • The Prodigy Announce 10-Date UK Tour In Support Of The Day Is My Enemy

2015 is looking like it will be a big year for UK electronic band, The Prodigy. The "Firestarter" trio revealed earlier in the month that their sixth studio album The Day Is My Enemy would be released on March 30th and the lead single "Nasty" would arrive sometime in January. In support of the album, they have announced a 10-date UK tour in May that will crisscross the island hitting Newcastle, Cardiff, Reading and end with back-to-back nights at London's legendary Alexandria Palace on May 15 and May 16.
  • Prodigy Announce 'Day Is My Enemy' Release Date, Tracklist

The news that all Prodigy fans have long been waiting for has finally arrived. The "Firestarter" group has dished the details on their upcoming artist album, "The Day Is My Enemy," slated for release March 30. Liam Howlett, Keith Flint and Maxim Reality have revealed the tracklist for the 14-track album as well via a post on the band's website. "The Day Is My Enemy" will be the sixth album in The Prodigy's storied 20-plus-year discography and their first in six years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the follow-up to 2009's "Invaders Must Die" with little definitive news as to when the next album would come. 2014 was supposed to see the next album in stores, but the year came and went, and 2015 looked like a surer thing after the group signed a new record deal and management contract. None of the songs on the album have been released yet, but two have been previously announced: "Ibiza" alongside Sleaford Mods and "Nasty," scheduled to get its release sometime later this month. It is interesting to see the band collaborate on the album with American dubstep producer Flux Pavilion, notably in a tracklist largely devoid of collaborations. They both make jarring and aggressive music, so we will see what kind of madness comes from that collab.

Now they have provided more details about possible new music by teasing the cover art of their new single "Nasty Nasty" on Instagram. The song will apparently come out, according to the caption, sometime in January, though they will not reveal the exact date.
