    The prestigious Mercury Awards have announced their shortlist of nominees for this year's prize. Among the artists who have albums in the running for the 2015 prize are Jamie xx with his In Colour album, Aphex Twin's Syro, Slaves Are you Satisfied? and Florence & The Machine's How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.

    Aphex Twin always like to keeps thing interesting. Today without warning, Richard D. James decided to delete all of the demos he had uploaded to his cryptic soundcloud account, "user48736353001." The page is still live, but currently has no public music on, which could mean he deleted everything or made them all private. There is one message for the fans - "I AM NOT RICHARD" and links to YouTube playlist where the over 200 songs are now housed.

    Aphex Twin has been quiet over the past couple months after an uncharacteristically productive few finish to 2014 and start of 2015 that saw the reclusive pioneering electronic music producer release an album, Syro, an EP and hundreds of demos. He started a few random soundcloud accounts to try and clandestinely upload old demos and unfinished music to the streaming service. The dumps have come in waves and are now concentrated on one account, user48736353001, who now has almost 200 tracks on the account. Over the weekend, Aphex Twin, real name Richard D. James added a few more tracks to the collection.

    Aphex Twin -- real name Richard D. James -- has been dumping unreleased demos onto an anonymous SoundCloud account over the past 10 days, which in total came to 110 demos. It was thought that after all of them had been put online and made available for free download that the uploading was over and he had exhausted his store of available music. Thankfully, we were wrong. As of this writing James has uploaded another 40 songs onto user48736353001's account, and there may be more going up as the day goes on.
