Among the headliners are Debbie Harry of Blondie, David Johansen of the New York Dolls, and Kate Pierson of the B-52s. Rock photographer Bob Gruen, who photographed Lennon during the ‘70s, will be honored at the event with the first ever John Lennon Real Love Award. -

Beck To Release 'Song Reader' Album On July 29, Featuring Jack White, Norah Jones, Fun., And More
Beck announced today that he is releasing an official studio version of his 2012 sheet music collection Song Reader. As reported by Stereogum, the album will feature a different artist performing each of its 20 songs, with Beck performing just one himself. Contributors to Song Reader, which will be released on July 29th through Capitol Records, include Jack White, Jeff Tweedy, Norah Jones, Fun., and Jack Black. -
