• Chief Keef's Capo Memorial Concert Cancelled Due To 'Meddling Priest'

    Chief Keef was trying to flip over a new leaf by organizing a memorial charity concert following the death of Glo Gang partner Capo as well as a one-year-old who was killed in connection to the event, however a "meddling priest" caused the event to be postponed, according to the emcee.

    It was another ugly weekend in Chicago as Chief Keef's friend and fellow Glo Gang member Marvin "Capo" Carr was killed in a drive-by shooting. Even more unfortunate, a one-year-old child was killed in the aftermath as the suspects fled the scene, running into the stroller carrying the the infant a few miles away from the initial crime. Even Keef, one of the most bleak emcees in the hip-hop world, has had enough. He declared a free concert in memorial of the child, Dillan Harris, to be held on July 17. He encourages attendees to donate to assist the family with funeral costs and other expenses.

Perhaps inspired by the better-than-usual beat, Keef actually makes an effort to be somewhat coherent in his delivery -- or, as "Hot New Hip-Hop" puts it -- the lyrics "verge on intelligible."
