• Charli XCX Featured on Mr. Oizo’s New EP ‘Hand in the Fire’ [LISTEN]

    French producer Mr. Oizo, aka Quentin Dupieux, has returned with a new EP titled Hand in the Fire. The four-track release features British singer-songwriter Charli XCX on the title song, two solo tracks and an instrumental version of "Hand in the Fire."   • Nari & Milani Respond To Accusations That 'Triangle' Ripped Off Mr Oizo 'Flat Beat'

    Italian producers, Nari & Milani, known for their single "Atom" are being accused of ripping off French electronic producer Mr. Oizo, real name Quentin Dupieux. Nari & Milani's track "Triangle," set for release on Jan. 26 via Sander van Doorn's Doorn Records, a subsidiary of major Dutch dance label, Spinnin' Records has eerily similar sound to Mr. Oizo's classic tune "Flat Beat." The internet has been buzzing about this and generally has not been happy with what is felt to be a rip off of a classic. Mr. Oizo himself has chimed and expressed that he is "not ok" with it. Nari & Milani have responded to the accusations in a lengthy Facebook post defending their actions, pointing to a Vengeance sample pack.
