• Mumford & Sons, Mark Hoppus, Tom Morello Cover Blink-182's 'What's My Age Again?'

There may be a bromance emerging between the guys in Mumford & Sons and Blink-182 bassist Mark Hoppus. Just a few days ago, the musicians united onstage for a unique cover of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams" and just when fans thought the bonding was a one-night-event, they reconvened for a private, nighttime gig on August 23. Rage Against the Machine front man Tom Morello also joined forces with Mumford and Hoppus for a rendition of Blink-182's staple hit, "What's My Age Again?"
  • Mumford and Sons Unveil Video for 'Wilder Mind' Track 'Ditmas'

Mumford & Sons decided to take a divergent musical route for their third studio album Wilder Mind, but in their latest video for "Ditmas," the British folk rockers have revisited their inner-country side by exploring the relationship between a man and his horse.
  • James Taylor Finally Hits No. 1, Beating Namesake Taylor Swift

It's been a long-time-coming for James Taylor as his newest album, Before The World, took the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200, making it the first record in the songwriter's 45-year career to do so (that span, measuring from the release of Taylor's first album to this one, is the second longest span in chart history, behind only Tony Bennett, who went 54 years without a no. 1). Before The World sold 97,000 copies...far from Taylor's best but plenty enough to take the top spot.
  • Mumford & Sons Joined On Stage by My Morning Jacket, Ed Helms and The War on Drugs

Music festivals tend to bring about endless collaborations and guests to the stage, leaving audience members eager to see if their favorite artists will enlist the help of any fellow musicians. During Mumford & Sons headlining set at Manchester's Bonnaroo on Saturday, the folk rockers invited special guests to join them in a cover of The Beatles classic, "With A Little Help From My Friends."
  • Bassist Ted Dwane Joked "the fourth record will be a hip-hop album"

London folk rock band Mumford & Sons posed as a Beatles cover band for a 2012 Saturday Night Live skit comedian Jason Sudeikis wrote, creating a working bond and growing friendship between the five of them. After appearing in Mumford's "Hopeless Wanderer" video with Ed Helms and Jason Bateman, Sudeikis is culminating their working trifecta with a video Q&A.
  • Twenty One Pilots, Zedd, Jamie Foxx and Faith No More Debut in Albums Chart Top 10

Twenty One Pilots had never sold more than 11,000 copies of an album in one week prior to the release of Blurryface last week, but that record didn't need streaming to top the Billboard 200. It also comes in at no. 1 on the albums chart, selling 134,000 copies (more than 91 percent of the album's Billboard 200 total came from actual album sales).
  • 'Pitch Perfect 2' Soundtrack Sales Up, Snoop Dogg 'Bush' Numbers Down

'Pitch Perfect 2' might not have a "Cups" yet (technically Anna Kendrick does perform her song on the new soundtrack but it's not a Hot 100 smash anymore) but it still managed something that the previous film's song collection didn't: topping the albums charts. The record, boosted by medleys featuring dozens of hit songs, won the sales battle this week by moving 91,000 copies.
  • Soundtracks Dominate Billboard 200 as 'Pitch Perfect 2' Debuts on Top, Joined by 'Fifty Shades' and 'Furious 7'

Another week and another soundtrack atop the Billboard 200, as the song collection from 'Pitch Perfect 2' grabs the no. 1 spot by moving 107,000 equivalent albums sold. The original film's soundtrack peaked at no. 3 on the Billboard 200, although its single "Cups" was a smash on the download charts. The current film already out-earned the first installment, which brought additional attention to the album as well.
  • Mumford & Sons Drops, Tech N9ne Sets Personal Record on Albums Chart

This week Warner Music became the first major label to report higher earnings from streaming than digital downloads, but album sales seem to be doing alright for Mumford & Sons, which tops the sales chart by selling 249,000 copies of 'Wilder Mind' this week. That's a sizable number but more than a 50 percent drop off from the band's previous album, 'Babel,' which debuted with 600,000 copies sold (the biggest rock debut of the decade thus far, in the band's defense).
  • Mumford & Sons Top Billboard 200, 'Fifty Shades' Gets Mother's Day Boost

Mumford & Sons remains a rock band to beat on the Billboard 200, gathering its second no. 1 record with Wilder Mind. Although the band's original alternative fan base has raised an eyebrow at the use of electric guitars on the new set, sales still came out to 249,000-trailing only Drake and Kendrick Lamar for biggest debut of 2015 thus far. Although nothing to frown at, it's still a relatively low sales figure for Mumford, which sold 600,000 copies of Babel when that album dropped during 2012.
