• Wiz Khalifa's 'See You Again' and More: 5 No. 1 Soundtracks and The Singles That Powered Them

This week's Billboard 200 featured the soundtrack to Furious 7 reaching no. 1 after four weeks on the charts. What's propelled the album to higher and higher sales every week? For one thing, the release of the film. More importantly however is the new metrics behind the Billboard 200, which now counts song streams and downloads toward "equivalent album sales." When an album has one song that really hits home with the population, that in turn helps the album that features it to move higher on the Billboard 200 charts. For Furious 7, that song is "See You Again," a track by Wiz Khalifa paying homage to deceased actor Paul Walker.
  • Lorde Shares Clip Of Old Song 'Lost Boys' Cut From 'Pure Heroine' [LISTEN]

Lorde is currently hard at work (we hope) on her new album, but today (December 10) the 18-year-old Kiwi pop star shared a clip of a song through her Tumblr that she probably won't be releasing officially any time soon. • Lorde Says Nicki Minaj Almost Contributed to 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay' Soundtrack

Lorde's highly anticipated soundtrack for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" was released earlier this week to much excitement. With the film premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, Nov. 21, the New Zealand songstress can take some time to look back on the whole process, like she did in a recent interview with "The FADER." Although the album features a slew of big names, Lorde did not get every artist she wanted ... like Nicki Minaj. "When I first approached the project, I thought I would chose 15 artists and they'd be the 15 artists I was with three months later," she said. "But obviously, it evolved like crazy." According to Lorde, whatever Minaj was going to do for the album was going to be "amazing," but the "Anaconda" singer was too busy with her next album, "The Pink Print," to contribute. But the "Royals" singer was nothing but supportive. "... I'm happy we're going to get a new Nicki Minaj album to listen to at the gym for six months," she added.
  • 'Hunger Games' Cast Sings Taylor Swift On 'SNL' [WATCH]

Woody Harrelson hosted "Saturday Night Live" this weekend and decided to give a national TV audience a 1989 education. Upset that Taylor Swift does not know anything about '89 — she named her newest album after her birth year — Harrelson attempted to provide some context but soon realized he had participated in too many ... er ... "recreational activities" to remember things clearly. "It was 25 years almost to the day since the first time I hosted "Saturday Night Live" in 1989," Harrelson said. "But with all due respect to Ms. Swift, I think I know a little bit more about 1989 than she does — even if the memories are a little fuzzy, because of the drugs." After someone handed him an acoustic guitar, Harrelson began a choppy parody of "Blank Space." Soon, he was joined onstage by fellow "Hunger Games" stars Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth and Jennifer Lawrence.
