• Willow, Jaden Smith's Wacky 'New York Times' Interview

Jaden and Willow Smith's new interview with "The New York Times" is quotable, insightful and, at times, a little crazy. The two offspring of actor/rapper Will Smith have a lot to say about life, but they say it in a way that is fit for someone older and wiser. In the four years since "Whip My Hair," it seems Willow has been studying some really interesting stuff. "When I look back I think, 'Wow, I did so much for young black girls and girls around the world. Telling them that they can be themselves and to not be afraid to be themselves,'" the 14-year-old said. "And I'm doing that now but in a whole different way, coming from [a] source [of] energy and universal truths." The two discussed their creative processes and how Jaden likes to piece things together as opposed to Willow letting the beat inspire her. They also like to collaborate, and apparently they view the partnership in terms of ... chocolate. "Me and Jaden just figured out that our voices sound like chocolate together," Willow said. "As good as chocolate tastes, it sounds that good." The brother and sister also touched on Prana energy, because they know what it is, and related art to shocking people.
