Kanye West appears as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by a former staff member.

The accuser alleges that the "Donda" rapper discriminated against Black individuals working within his team.

According to court records obtained by Page Six and submitted in the Los Angeles Superior Court, allegations have surfaced against Benjamin Deshon Provo, a former security guard at the Donda Academy. These documents claim that Provo experienced "severe emotional distress" due to West's actions.

The lawsuit stated, "Kanye and members of his management team subjected Provo and other Black employees to less favorable treatment than their white counterparts."

"Specifically, Kanye frequently screamed at and berated Black employees, while in contrast, he never so much as raised his tone of voice toward white staff."

Allegations were made by Provo against West, accusing him of mocking his Black employees who wore locs. Provo clarified that he wore locs as a reflection of his Muslim faith.

The document further stated, "Kanye and members of his management team required Provo to choose between these critical aspects of his self-identity and financial stability."

"Indeed, at the direction of Kanye, Provo was given the ultimatum, cut his hair, or be fired."

Provo's claims extended beyond just the enforced haircut - he also accused the controversial rapper of prohibiting books written by notable Black figures like Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr.

Lawsuits Against West

In another lawsuit, Trevor Phillips, a former staff member at Donda Academy, has come forward with a case alleging instances of abuse and discrimination against West.

Phillips, who became part of West's school in 2022, is taking legal action against West for claims of discrimination, harassment, and fostering a toxic workplace environment, as reported by TMZ.

Per official records, the Yeezy creator reportedly engaged in "bullying" behavior towards Black staff members, frequently discussed struggles with porn addiction, and admitted to a high frequency of self-pleasure even though accustomed to group encounters.

Phillips then shared an audio clip he alleges features his ex-supervisor declaring, "Gay people are not true Christians. And gay people are controlled by Bill Gates so that they don't have children for population control."

Philips also claimed West made disturbing comments about Hitler and Jewish people. Further accusations in the legal case include claims that the former husband of Kim Kardashian wanted to build a prison at a school to confine students, showed favoritism towards white staff members, and made physical threats during what was described as an outburst.

As reported by Rolling Stone, the lengthy 42-page complaint outlines various incidents involving the accused, including unexpected terminations, a last-minute invitation to Nobu, silent viewing of The Batman, and uncomfortable encounters with West mimicking inappropriate sexual behavior.
