Coi Leray has received backlash on social media after she proclaimed herself as the "female uzi" of the "rap girlies."

Hip-hop and Lil Uzi Vert fans quickly stormed her post on X, formerly Twitter, to criticize her for her bold pronouncement.

While Leray must have expected her fans to agree with her, she received insults and brutal roasts from people.

"Ain't nobody ever screamed, "Yeah, turn that new Coi on..". Nobody. You have the versatility of Flo-Rida when it comes to making H&M and Target music. We can't figure you out because we don't care enough, beloved," one wrote, echoing others' sentiments on her claims.

"The delusional is high coi your not UZI or ever be like him lord go pray to jesus this has to be the most unserious and delusional post I have ever seen by any female rapper ever LMAO," another commented.

One user even pointed out that Leray is "starting to act like benzino now," linking the young rapper's behavior to her estranged controversial father, who is still feuding with Eminem.

"All female rappers do is bend over and she's embarrassed by her father it should b the other way around," another criticized.

"I think you might be more delusional and corny than scratch off. Uzi actually sales records and you don't! NEXT COI FISH!" someone wrote, referencing the dismal commercial performance of Leray's sophomore album, Coi.

Chart Data reported that the album only sold 10,000 units in its first week, placing No. 102 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert 's Pink Tape debuted at No. 1 on the chart with 167,000 album units in its opening week in 2023.

Despite her dismal album debut, Leray remained grateful for her achievement.

"Grateful to have an album on the top 200 for my first week of my album release, again. This time with 3 hits on the hot 100 ... woah . I'm super proud of myself. Bigger and better year every time. Keep streaming #COI it's an AMAZING project," she tweeted in July 2023.

Leray recently made headlines after publicly disowning her father, Benzino, after defending R. Kelly and Diddy in an interview.
