The classic musical Annie is getting a glitzy remake and release this Christmas season and to accompany the new movie, pop star/songwriter Sia is proclaiming that "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile." Today (Oct. 21), the full version of the reworking of the classic Annie song arrived online, with some new lyrical and musical tweaks from the "Chandelier" singer.

Sia's "You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile" takes the bare bones of the song, the title lyric and basic melody and completely flips it on its side. Though the original song is all about the raggy life being OK as long as you have a smile on your face, Sia is more about the "after" part of Annie's transformation.

"Your clothes may be Chanel, Gucci / Your shoes crocodile / But you're never fully dressed without a smile," she sings in the sunny first verse before going into pure positive mode. "If you don't stand for something / You'll fall further / We got all we need / Got diamonds / You're never fully dressed without a smile."

The slight salsa shifting beat and glitzy production are just among a few of the changes Sia and lyricist Greg Kurstin made to the track, and though it's inherently recognizable, this song is more of a spin on Annie than anything else.
