EDM kings Skrillex and Diplo reportedly worked with Justin Bieber, producing a new album by the pop star and giving it an electronic makeover. DJ SKEE broke the news on his Weekend Update show for Dash Radio, saying some disc jockeys sat in on an exclusive listening event of the album.

"It's supposed to be really, really dope, crossing over a few different formats," SKEE says in the video below, via YourEDM. "They're saying a lot of people who aren't feeling Bieber or wouldn't necessarily like that record are going to be caught off guard by that. So, shout out to Skrillex and Diplo for just killing the game."

The two artists, known as Jack U, have been talking about their collaborations with other acts lately, saying that they have been in the studio with UsherMadonna, Nicki Minaj and A$AP Ferg, who have all hit the duo up for collaboration. The two are also getting ready for their New Year's Eve extravaganza at Madison Square Garden.

Skrillex dropped his first studio effort, Recess, in March. It went to No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on the Dance/Electronic Albums list. Rolling Stone gave it 3 1/2 out of five stars, writing, "The first full-length release of his six-year solo career shows him fitter, happier and more well-adjusted — it turns out he actually wants to make you dance, not just mosh like a maniac. With hypermacho 'roid-outs by European EDM headliners like DJ Snake and Martin Garrix all over Top 40, it makes sense that the guy who opened the door for the most aggressive side of dance music is pushing back."

In July, Diplo released a compilation album titled Random White Dude Be Everywhere. It included previously released tracks as well as new ones like a remix featuring Waka Flocka Flame.
