Prince, our favorite purple pajamas and pancakes man, has debuted the demo for a new track called "Da Bourgeoisie," in which he sings about a woman who left him for another woman. The song has a funky southern-rock vibe with a simple guitar progression and drum beat with a sprinkling of a whammy riff toward the end.

Obviously feeling like a mere middle class man rather than a prince, he sings, "I guess a man is only good for a rainy day / Maybe your just another bearded lady at the cabaret / Ray Charles even saw you in the past before he saw me / Because nothing like you ever lasts for eternity."

2013 has been a big year for the pop legend, who came back into the spotlight with his backing band 3rdEYEGIRL. Most recently, he put on two shows at his Paisley Park recording studio/home, released the video for his single "Breakfast Can Wait," a cover of the song "The Sweeter He Is" and a clip of "I Like It There."
