Yesterday, March 3, was one of the greatest days of the year, better known as National Pancake Day at IHOP. Most people head to the pancake establishment to get their fill and donate money to charity, the goal of the day. Los Angeles rapper The Game takes the day seriously and posted several pictures on Instagram with him and a massive stack of 50 pancakes after he donated $5,000 to the cause.

IHOP launched National Pancake Day in 2006 with the aim of using its addictive pancakes to spur its large consumer base for charitable means. Consumers can order a free short stack -- three -- of buttermilk pancakes after leaving a donation for the Children's Miracle Network Hospital. To date, $16 million has been raised from the day, with a goal of $3.5 million in 2015.

This is yet another example of Game's charitable giving. He is the founder of the Robin Hood Project, which helps families and individuals in need of funds to pay for hospital or funeral bills. He has given away more than $1 million of his own money at this point and continues to do so.

Game was recently honored with the Humanitarian of the Year Award at the 25th Talk of the Town Awards a few months ago.
