Jack Johnson has announced a world tour in support of his latest release, 2013's From Here to Now to You, which debuted at No. 1 in September. He will be on and off the road from March to September with support from a variety of artists including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Amos Lee. Tickets go on sale January 30 and January 31, depending on the city, at 10 a.m. local time.
As Rolling Stone points out, Johnson played his first show in more than a year as a last-minute headliner at Bonnaroo, filling in for Mumford & Sons, who had to cancel because of health issues with their bassist Ted Dwane. He even made up a song about the whole situation singing, "[They said] can you get a band together in two days? I don't know, it's been a year or so since we've played these songs. Oh, what the hell. It's Bonnaroo!"
