Normally seeing new music from ZHU is quite rare, but today, Oct. 9, he reclusive "Faded" producer has unveiled two new pieces of content to the world. Earlier he shared the fourth track in his Genesis Series, "Hold Up, Wait A Minute" featuring Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Trombone Shorty. Now the Los Angeles-producer has unveiled the music video for the first track in the series, "Automatic" with AlunaGeorge.

As part of the series, ZHU has been sending out short video clips to email subscribers as part of a one minute long teaser for each track, four days in advance of its actual release. Those are animated and could have been an indication of what was to come for the actual music videos, but the full visuals for "Automatic" proved that wrong.

The video starts as mysterious as the man who produced the track. AluneGeorge's vocal hints at something sexual, which the video lures the viewer into thinking might happen, but after some shady business goes down between two men in a dark ally, things take a left turn. The main protagonist, an attractive women in a black dress who is being followed by a black car, sees the deal go down and subtly goes after the man, eventually garroting him with her purse chain.

The unexpected turn is another instance of the wild imagination that ZHU has with his music videos that can turn violent and are always elicit raw emotion. Purchase "Automatic" on iTunes

"Automatic" was the first track released as part of ZHU's Genesis Series. He then collaborated with A-Trak and Keznamdi to create a reggae-infused single "As Crazy As It Is". ZHU then went in house to work with his fellow Mind Of A Genius labelmate Gallant for a more soulful selection titled "Testarossa Music".
