On Sunday (Nov. 22), the 43rd annual American Music Award were held at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles. The night was filled with some of the largest hit-makers in the music industry and the biggest names celebrities in Hollywood. While most viewers tuned in to the 2015 award ceremony to see which artists would go home with what, some of the real winners stole the show on the star-studded red carpet. This list highlights the celebrity fashion looks from Nicki Minaj, Gigi Hadid, and more.
Coca-Cola held a special pre-show event featuring live stream coverage of the AMAs 2015 red carpet, interviews, and even some special performances from artists on the rise. Several guest hosts took over to cover all the A-listers stepping on the red carpet, including actress Bailee Madison, Shad Moss (also known as Bow Wow), Ariana Grande's big brother Frankie, and many more.
Fans waiting to see their favorite celebrities arrive, also got a an early taste of music with performances from chart-topping Canadian Songstress Alessia Cara, platinum recording artist Shawn Mendes, and emerging artists Francesco Yates and Gabi Wilson. Of course, even the performers made sure to arrive in their best threads.
There were several trends set last night. Lace and dress cut outs were a huge hit, as well as, crop top sets and mesh. Black was a popular color on the runway carpet, while other celebrities strayed away from the "norm" by wearing fun bright colors like bubble gum pink.
Prepare your eyes for bands color-coordinating their outfits, blue hair, top knots, men in dapper suits, ruffles, short jumpsuits, skin-tight dresses, floral skirts, sleek ponytails, and a lot of skin.
