Pitbull came out a winner at the Grammy ceremony, per tie with Natalia Lafourcade in the best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album category. He also took the stage and closed out Music’s Biggest Night with a star studded performance with Robin Thicke and Joe Perry.

He performed two tracks, including current chart-topper “El Taxi,” which features Cuban rapper Osmani Garcia. Actress Sofía Vergara, who he name drops on the track, even showed up for a cameo and sexy dance across the stage in a sparkly gold outfit. Pitbull's dancers wore yellow and black outfits with checkered detailing and the lights in the background flashed yellow and black.

Pitbull was later joined on stage by Robin Thicke, who sang, and Joe Perry rocked the guitar, while Travis Barker pitched in on the drums for "Bad Man."

And that was no typo. Pitbull earned a grammophone for Dale, as did Lafourcade for Hasta La Raíz. Dale served as Pitbull’s first Spanish language album in years and features a long string of singles.

Lafourcade’s album, on the other hand, has been wildly successful in her native Mexico and includes a variety of personal songs. She was a big winner in November at the Latin Grammy awards.

Nonetheless, Pitbull shared his gratitude on Twitter, where he wrote, “The irony winning the Grammy for Spanish at the Anglo side. Thank you! Dale!”
