Selena Gomez lives a glamorous life, filled with international travel, beautiful friends, dedicated fans, hair commercials featuring her bouncy wavy locks and, of course, pop music. And fans can't stop gobbling it up. The "Hands to Myself" singer has now surpassed her BFF Taylor Swift as the most-followed person on Instagram.
Gomez has amassed a total of 69.5 million total followers, E! Online reports, making Swift's 69.3 million followers look like chump change. Of course, Gomez's Instagram also surpasses such filtered heavy-hitters such as Kim Kardashain (63.7 million), Ariana Grande (63.3 million), Beyoncé (63.1 million), Justin Bieber (61.6 million) and Kylie Jenner (54.4 million).
What is also interesting about Gomez's Instagram compared to that of Swift's, Kardashian's or Beyoncé's is that her images come across as much less carefully curated. Of course, Gomez's account features glamorous fashion shots and snaps with some of her famous friends, but she also posts videos of her eating a burger, memes and throwback pictures from her Barney days.
In addition to sharing her life on Instagram, Gomez is gearing up to kick off her Revival Tour (in support of her album of the same name) later this spring. The 42-date tour is set to begin May 6 in Las Vegas.
