Electric Forest has announced the preliminary lineup its 2017 festival offering. After announcing the festival would expand to two weekends for its seventh year, the Michigan dance music festival has unveiled some of the big names that will headline both weekends. Among those who will perform include Bassnectar, Odesza, My Morning Jacket, DJ Snake, RL Grime, Big Gigantic, Claude VonStroke and more.
Most artists will perform both weekends like Bassnectar, who has been contracted as an every year headliner, The String Cheese Incident, who is a festival staple, Claude VonStroke, 12th Planet, Big Gigantic, Oliver Heldens (albeit under a different alias the second weekend), Bob Moses, Illenium and more.
There are others who will perform only the first weekend such as Odesza, Above & Beyond, Nero (Live), Snakehips and Viceroy. Bassrush, Bird House, Foreign Family Collective, Her Forest and Night Bass will host stages the first weekend.
The second weekend will have its share of exclusive performers such as RL Grime, Thievery Corporation, Nora En Pure, DJ Snake and Sub Focus. The second weekend will have stages hosted by Crew Love, Future Classic, Hi-LO presents Heldeep, No Xcuses and Tuntablists.
Electric Forest will take place June 22-25 and June 29 - July 2, 2017.
