The country songstress had a short 6-show tour planned, but things went left on the first stop when Monroe felt ill.

She posted a note on her website to alert fans of the cancelation.

"My sweet fans,
I have to cancel the rest of the shows for this rung because of a severe kidney infection. This is very serious and I'm heading back to Nashville to go to the hospital. Thank you for understanding and please keep me in your prayers. I'm so sorry for the disappointment this will cause, but if I don't take care of this it could risk my life. I promise I will make it up to you all.
- Ashley"

No word yet on how she will make up her missed shows in New York, Baltimore or Newton, N.J.
