It's been years since Beyonce last released a solo album; although Queen Bey dropped three other projects, including the collaborative album "Everything Is Love," "The Lion King: The Gift," and "Homecoming," many fans are still waiting for the follow-up of her 2016 studio album "Lemonade."; is she coming out with a new record this 2022?

According to Capital Xtra, the singer's record label announced that fans could expect new music soon. Sony Music CEO, Rob Stringer, confirmed that Beyonce will be releasing new music within the first quarter of 2022.

In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, Jay-Z's wife also confirmed, "yes the music is coming!" She also revealed in the magazine that she's been working in the studio for "a year and a half" now.

Neither Beyonce nor her team has publicly confirmed the album's title, but many fans are speculating that it would be called "B7," because it's her seventh studio album.

Regarding the sound of her upcoming record, the mother of three revealed some of her inspirations in the interview, saying she took note of the isolation that happened over the past two years due to the pandemic.

In addition, she was also touched by the injustices that the public experienced.

"I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again," she said.

She adds, "I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible."

Per Entertainment Weekly, Beyonce wanted to be hands-on and check out even the smallest detail of her upcoming album; that's why it took her so long before releasing it.

"Still, there's nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio, after 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was 9 years old," she said.

Beyonce's TikTok Account a Tell-Tale Sign That New Music Is Coming?

According to Cosmopolitan, the "Drunk In Love" songstress shocked fans when she quietly joined TikTok, and many of them alleged that new music is coming soon.

The verified account named @beyonce doesn't have any posts, following, or likes, but she has amassed many followers since joining the platform.

"Beyoncé is on tiktok. she's coming and i don't care if i'm being delusional," one fan wrote.

"beyonce's prob gonna drop her visual album in tiktok snippets and make everyone purchase the album for the rest," another fan wrote.
