Drake has added a new rising hip-hop star to his label OVO Sound. Last night (Aug. 31) at his Drake Vs. Lil Wayne Tour stop in Atlanta, Drizzy announced that he signed "Club Going Up Like A Tuesday" rapper ILOVEMAKONNEN to his roster.

The announcement was pretty expected. Drake is a noted fane of ILOVEMAKONNEN, previously adding his own twist on "Club Going Up Like A Tuesday" with a remix last month, in a newly titled track "Tuesday."

Drake made the announcement alongside ILOVEMAKONNEN in Atlanta after bringing the rapper out for a performance, according to Hip-Hop Wired.

ILOVEMAKONNEN is a new rising star in the rap game. The Atlanta emcee has released just one self-titled mixtape but made major waves with his contemporaries thanks to Drake's enthusiastic reception toward "Tuesday."

He's just the latest rapper to join Drake's OVO Sound, a label imprint of Warner Bros. ILOVEMAKONNEN joins Majid Jordan, PARTYNEXTDOOR, OB O'Brien and, of course, Drake in the lineup.

OVO Sound welcomed ILOVEMAKONNEN with open arms, immediately promoting the signing on its Twitter and Instagram.

The "Tuesday" remix featuring Drake is also now available on iTunes, thanks to OVO Sound.
