After fans on social media debated if he should be wronged for hitting a woman with a microphone when he was performing, 50 Cent is now being sued by that woman for battery.

The plaintiff is POWER 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain, who has experienced significant injuries on her face since the incident.

50 Cent Sued By Woman Who Was Hit By Microphone

People Magazine obtained court documents in Los Angeles that POWER 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain accused him of serious and permanent injury" and "emotional distress."

Monegain claims that 50 Cent, formally known as Curtis Jackson, threw his microphone because it wasn't working and it struck her in the face and left wrist.

The shocking incident happened on Aug. 30, 2023, at the Crypto.com Arena on 50 Cent's "The Final Lap" tour. The incident has since been filmed and uploaded on social media.

Monegain's photo also went viral on social media, with fans sympathizing for her.

The suit also revealed that Monegain was taken to the emergency room of Los Angeles General Medical Center and was subsequently treated for "concussion, laceration over her forehead and pain in her left wrist."

The publication also reported that Monegain experienced dizziness, headaches, light and sound sensitivity and nausea after the harrowing incident, even claiming that she still suffers from "severe injuries and emotional distress."

Monegain also adds her medical expenses in the suit, along with the wages she lost as a radio presenter.

The scathing lawsuit sues AEG and G-Unit Touring and Curtis James Jackson III.

"She was simply an attendee trying to enjoy herself when a heavy object came catapulting toward her face. No matter who the assailant is, this alleged act of negligence and violence is unacceptable, and we will hold 50 Cent and his co-defendants accountable for their alleged actions. Mr. Jackson has himself previously said that 'If the talk ain't [a]bout money, homie, I ain't concerned,' so we are confident our client will be fairly and justly compensated for the injuries she suffered," Monegain's lawyer said in a statement.

Fans defended 50 Cent at the time, with some saying:

"I'm sure he didn't mean too. He definitely needs to man up, apologize, & pay for her hospital fees & also extra money for sincerity. I feel bad for her," a user said.

As of this writing, 50 Cent hasn't yet released any statement about the lawsuit.
