According to Page Six, days leading to the event, fans are expecting the Canadian superstar to be one of Usher's surprise guests for his Halftime Show performance, but many were left disappointed when he didn't take the stage.

More recently, details behind why he didn't perfom has emerged and it appears that it has something to do with his personal feelings.

A source spoke with the outlet to reveal that the musician just "wasn't feeling it."

The insider further clarified that there's no "bad blood" between Usher and Bieber, it's just he didn't feel like performing at the Super Bowl.

In addition, Usher did his best to convince Justin Bieber to perform with him for the show so that they could create a moment that will look back at their friendship.

However, his persuading powers weren't enough as Bieber didn't take the stage. Regardless, he was still able to watch Usher from afar as he attended the Super Bowl which took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before the big day, Bieber was photographed arriving in Las Vegas along with several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family like Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, and his wife's best friend, Kendall Jenner.

Usher delivered a very successful performance with massive surprise guests that made his fans take a trip down memory lane as most of the tracks he performed came from his years-long music catalog.

According to the Independent, some of the special guests who performed with him during the Halftime Show were Alicia Keys, Lil Jon, H.E.R., and Ludacris.

In other updates about the singer, Usher reportedly got married to his longtime girlfriend Jennifer at Terrace Gazebo in Las Vegas. The venue was an outdoor wedding chapel that only has 30 seats for guests.
