Normani is finally ready to release her debut album--or so it seems.
According to reports, the Fifth Harmony alum wiped her Instagram clean, which fans took as a sign that she is teasing new music or perhaps her highly anticipated debut album.
However, it has been several years since the singer announced that she would be releasing an album, which only disheartened fans and left them disappointed.
"Does Normani know her 'new era' is starting?" One sarcastically asked.
"I prayed for times like this."
"Finally, after six years, she has an album title," another added, referencing Normani's tweet from 2018, stating, "I have my album title, y'all."
Normani Teases New Music Era
Following Normani's collaboration with Bose, the singer teased that she is entering a "new chapter" in her life and career.
"I'm really excited to partner with Bose, especially going into this new chapter," she told Billboard in July 2023.
"In terms of my career and my music, I know the wait has been extensive but it's definitely going to be worth it, and I just feel like the partnership couldn't have come at a better time.
"It just felt like it was so in alignment with where I am musically and creatively," she added.
It seemed like she was teasing upcoming releases, but for the entirety of 2023, Normani did not release any music.

Normani's New Management Confirms New Music
Back in 2021, Normani was asked about unreleased music, and whether she plans to make a comeback to music.
"I've been sitting on - I have probably two, three albums worth of music," Normani replied in an interview.
Fans were hopeful when it was announced that the "Motivation" singer hired a new management team in 2023.
According to reports, Normani is now handled by the management team behind Troye Sivan and Charli XCX: Brandon Creed.
"With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership," a source said about the singer's upcoming endeavors.
This is why some fans were skeptical of Normani seemingly teasing a new music era, since she has not released anything in six years.
"How original LOL. This is getting hella boring," one wrote.
"Is she actually going to this time?"
"Watch her drop one song and disappear for another two years."
