Reneé Rapp is now considered to be an accomplished singer and actress. Still, all of this wouldn't be possible without the help of Beyoncé as she mentioned in a recent interview that Queen Bey was a big part of her career; how did the singer help the "Mean Girls" star?

The rising star recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter, where she gushed over Beyoncé as she gave her flowers earlier this month.

According to Billboard, the singer took to social media to sing a rendition of the musician's "Daddy Lessons" from her album "Lemonade." Then, days later, she received flowers from Beyoncé.

"I've never been speechless in my life. It's literally going to make me cry," she added.

Rapp further noted that Beyoncé is why she knows how to sing; when she was younger, she would sit down and listen to her different singing styles.

"She is everything - and the reason that I know how to sing. I would sit down and listen to her different tonalities and phonics and phrasing styles," she added.

Beyoncé Was a Big Part of Reneé Rapp's Upbringing

The outlet noted that Beyoncé has helped Reneé Rapp grow as a young musician even though they didn't personally interact in the past.

When attempting to have a big break in the music industry, she would upload covers of Beyoncé songs online.

In addition, she also taught Rapp to love her body as she suffered from body dysmorphia, so for her to feel better, her mom would sing her the song "Bootylicious" by Destiny's Child, and it would immediately make her feel okay.

Reneé Rapp's Future in the Music Industry

Reneé Rapp has done a musical, as she starred as the infamous character Regina George in the new "Mean Girls" movie, but she's not conquering the music industry yet.

She mentioned in the interview that she wanted to create something that leans into the R&B genre and, simultaneously, wants it to be authentic.

"I would love to do a project like that, but it needs to be done well," she added.

Outside of music, Reneé Rapp values friendship. She recently struck a loving relationship with her good pal Megan Thee Stallion, who collaborated with her on the track "Not My Fault."

She mentioned in the interview that Megan is one of the people with whom she's comfortable talking about her mental health problems.
