Some Beyoncé fans are upset over the latest release from the superstar, Cowboy Carter, due to discrepancies between the CD and vinyl versions of the album.
Those who eagerly pre-ordered the physical copies of her eighth studio album have expressed disappointment upon discovering that the the digital release includes additional tracks not included on the physical album.
The arrival of pre-orders for the CD and $40 vinyl started on Friday, coinciding with the digital release. However, fans swiftly turned to social media to express their discontent. They pointed out that five tracks from the album's digital version -- "Flamenco," "Oh Louisiana," "The Linda Martell Show," "Spaghetti," and "Ya Ya" -- were conspicuously absent from the vinyl package.
A noticeable absence among the CD tracks was reported with "Flamenco" missing.
Beyonce's 'Cowboy Carter' Fans Feel 'Scammed'
A comment left on Beyoncé Shop's Instagram page expressed disappointment, with a fan stating, "It's disheartening that you deceived us with false advertising about a bonus track that was nonexistent and to discover that the CDs contain fewer songs than expected."
According to other comments on the Instagram post, "We need at least a discount refund or be able to refund altogether since the CDs and vinyls delivered are not what was listed. False advertisement is real."

Act II - Beyincé
Some individuals noted that certain editions of the CD and vinyl releases featured the title Act II-Beyincé instead of Cowboy Carter.
It was also brought to fans' attention that the change in title might indicate Beyoncé was incorporating new tracks and making modifications right up to the last few weeks before the album's release.
Usually, physical versions of albums are manufactured well in advance, with a production lead time of at least two months.

5 Missing Tracks From 'Cowboy Carter' Vinyl Release
According to a report from Variety, customers who raised issues with the album's seller during the weekend were met with an automated reply stating that their queries would be addressed within three to four days, citing a surge in email traffic.
Although fans have criticized the vinyl version of Cowboy Carter, it has undeniably made a significant mark on music streaming platforms.
Upon its release, the album garnered 76.13 million streams. It features a rendition of Dolly Parton's classic hit "Jolene" as well as the The Beatles' "Blackbird."
