Morgan Wallen is one of the biggest artists in the country today, especially in the country music genre. Wallen's widespread appeal to the younger generation of country music enthusiasts and old listeners has bolstered his album, One Thing At A Time, to the top of the charts.
With a huge following comes the responsibility of taming fans. At Wallen's recent concert, the singer reacted when his fans booed perhaps the biggest artist on the planet today.
Morgan Wallen Scolds Fans Who Booed Taylor Swift
When Morgan Wallen sold out his Lucas Oil Stadium concert in Indianapolis, he also set an attendance record for the venue.
"They told me right before I walked on stage that this is the single most-attended concert in the history of this building," Wallen told the crowd. "And that we are the first people to do that two nights in a row."
Home to the Indianapolis Colts, the Lucas Oil Stadium can host up to 70,000 people.
As he was met with a thunderous cheer, he also joked that he would like to boast a little "until Taylor Swift comes to town in the fall."
Although he had good intentions with his joke, many of his fans didn't seem to get it and booed in unison upon hearing the pop star's name.
However, Wallen wasn't amused with the reaction as he didn't want to have a "bad blood" with Swift and her especially loyal legion of fans worldwide.
"We ain't got to boo, we ain't got to boo," Wallen shouted, sushing his booing fans.
Taylor Swift will return to the United States in October 2024 after touring the European continent. She will perform a three-night show at the Lucas Oil Stadium on Nov. 1-3, 2024.

Swifties React to Morgan Wallen Shushing His Fans
On social media, Swifties reacted to Wallen's response to his fans booing Swift after he mentioned her.
"He ate that one little thing but he's still a racist," a fan said, referencing Wallen's previous racism scandal.
"he's just tryna clean up his mess, tbh. ain't fooling anyone tho. just another way to stay on the good side of the public fr. not buying it OF," another shared.
Meanwhile, some lauded Wallen for his comment.
"It's commendable that Morgan Wallen took a stand to defend Taylor Swift and discourage his fans from booing. Showing respect and support for fellow artists, even in a lighthearted context, is important for fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the music industry. It's good to see artists using their platforms to promote unity and mutual respect among their fan bases," a fan wrote.
