Morgan Wallen's ex-fiancée, Katie "KT" Smith, finally spoke out after the country superstar was arrested.

She denied the allegations that his legal trouble was related to her recent elopement with influencer Luke Scornavacco.

In a statement to the Daily Beast, the social media personality explained: "Although it may seem like it correlates because of the timeline, I have no evidence to believe the incident had anything to do with the recent marriage announcement."

Smith further noted that she couldn't speak on behalf of her ex-partner, but she's hoping and praying that the recent arrest was "just a slipup" and he would return to the "good path" that he was on before that.

Morgan Wallen's Recent Arrest Due to Katie Smith's Recent Marriage?

According to Page Six, Smith announced on social media that she and her boyfriend, Luke Scronavacco, had been engaged.

In photos posted on her Instagram account, Scornavacco can be seen kneeling with a ring on his hand as the influencer looks at him while they are surrounded by thousands of flowers at Magnolia Farm in Eagleville, TN.

The couple eloped and got married five days after they got engaged.

Sources later spoke to Daily Mail to reveal that Morgan Wallen launched a chair at authorities from a rooftop bar because he hadn't moved on from his relationship with Smith.
